Our client’s environmental business is a leading provider in environmental services across public and private clients across NRM, Remediation, Waste, Impacts Assessments and Permitting, Air Quality and HSE. Due to ongoing growth within their Environmental division there is an exciting opportunity for a Principal/Associate Director – Waste to join their Melbourne team.

As the Technical leader of the Waste Group your role will be varied and challenging and largely involve managing our clients waste containment/management projects with a focus on landfill design, performance assessment, technical specification preparation and construction quality control. It is essential that you have a strong understanding of all areas of waste management as a business and be a recognised leader in this field; you will work closely with other senior members of the team in a business development and marketing role. Your role will also include team building and project management.

Requirements;

• 10 years + local and relevant engineering experience
• Proven capability in landfill design and performance assessment, including the preparation of detailed design drawings, construction specifications, technical documents, works approval applications, and knowledge of geosynthetics liners and its applications.
• Academic knowledge of waste/landfill engineering;
• Experience in client development
• Previous consulting experience, excellent communication
